First contact with PA19.
Level PA19 probably just gonna be designated as Level 19 if I’m honest. is the X Level of The Backrooms. It takes the appearance of some dank old attic, feels oddly familiar like every other place in here.
Description:
Level description a dirty old attic, floors are creaky and the whole place is gonna trigger my damn asthma. Level PA19 is a lot of cramped basement. Cobwebs are common and as are boxes. The boxes contain little to nothing need to revise this to fit with the usual tone, god clinical is a drag.
Level PA19 lacks in any source of “natural” light, with the entirety of the Level only being illuminated by an extremely faint glow that comes from no known origin. and some of the floorboards emit this lovely orange glow from whatever’s under them, it’s so warm, reminds me of Granny Mary's home.
There’s also some furniture, ranging from tables, ottomans, bookcases, and sofas. All of them have a feel of a care home, and are incredibly dusty I’m going to stab whoever invented clinical tone.
Bases, Communities And Outposts
There are no established Bases, Communities or Outposts on this level. and I honestly doubt there ever will be, the dust and asbestos-lined walls alone will kill anyone here. Although the warm glow beneath the floorboards be really nice, maybe a place could be set up around it.
Additional Content
It should be noted that Level PA19 can mess with your head, creating voices and inflicting nausea. yeah I know I’m missing the important lingo, but if you care so much about this sounding right why not edit this yourself.
Writing this a few hours after, just got the entrances and exits to do now. But the hallucinations are getting stronger. I’m seeing colour, my mouth is filling with bile, and I swear I’ve blacked out who knows how many times in the past hour alone. But I think looking and thinking about the orange glow beneath the floorboards helps a ton. It’s helping me, at least.
Entrances And Exits:
Entrances
Well I got here via PA22, at first I thought it was just PA22 still, but the orange glow is different to those fire people, so I don’t think it is the same.
Exits
There are currently no catalogued exits. the warm glow will be my exit.
⚠️ SAFETY NOTICE⚠️
Level PA19 has been cited as a Psionic Hazard, with any and all information on Level PA19 requiring administration override to access. This is to protect the public and inexperienced from falling victim to such a potentially hazardous Level that can be accessed from Level 1, PA22 and Level 2. With the former and latter being such easy Levels to enter. This issue will be rectified, and the page declassified, as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding.
Well this took me a while to understand. But I think I got it now! Right, well, what is this… and where am I. Dunno really. I just randomly found this tablet in front of a hole in the floor, the hole was kinda glowing orange, which is interesting…? God I have no idea, this whole “Backrooms” place is so damn strange.
I imagine that this tablet is used by that meg lot on Level 1, I think that’s what they called the warehousy car park place. I imagine that this has access to the whole database of Level thingy’s that Melody showed me. This is honestly kinda cool, maybe I can make a few edits here and there, add my own experiences to these pages, I can contribute to this place!

Well I tried, but the administrators didn’t really like me adding to the pre-existing pages they’ve written. Guess I’m lucky they haven’t noticed the fact I deleted that warning jpg earlier, whatever it was warning about. Maybe they’re watching me take notes, if so… hi! I guess. Don’t delete this please, this is the only way I can catalogue this.
But in other news, I decided to have a little wander round as I made my awesome edits, I’m still wandering around now as I even type this! But yeah, I found some more interesting stuff, I guess. I mean this Level isn’t exactly the most interesting, considering some of the Levels I read about on Melody’s phone. But nevertheless, I guess I found some things that are interesting?
For one, I found some surprisingly pristine food in the boxes, I found some open cans of tuna, water bottles, and sometimes cooked gammon on a plate! All the food tastes so nice and lovely, I haven’t had a proper meal in… god, no idea. I wonder if there’s more of it inside the orange glows. Oh! I should mention that!

Sorry, I’m back. I just blacked out. Been feeling a little ill recently, I’m sure it’s just a case of the lurgey or flu. I’ll be fine. But anyways…
The orange glow! Yes, that thing. So I haven’t mentioned it until now, but now seems like a good time to. While some of the floor is pink insulation, a lot of it is floorboards. And underneath some of those floorboards… is a lovely warm glow. It’s like a nice fire, or like cosying up under a heated blanket with your grandparents during your time in Switzerland. Ok well that was a bit specific- I didn’t even really mean to write that whole thing. The comfort of that glow just brings it out of me, I suppose.
But yeah, that glow is nice and fuzzy and warm and just… it’s good, very good in fact. Makes we wish I had the power to tear open the floorboards. Wonder if I can remember where the hole I found this tablet was at… maybe I’ll go looking for it. Maybe.

Short introduction i.e do I remove this bit?
Level 3 is the 4th Level of The Backrooms or well at least I think it’s the 3rd Level? It’s the 3rd Level I’ve found, and even though Melody showed me a Level that went all the way up to Level 108, I haven’t read about a Level 3, so I’ll take the free space
add a short introduction. (Must not be empty)
The place resembles a really old and damp attic, kinda hard to see in, with the exception of the glowing floor.
Description:
Level 3 is really old and musty. I can barely stand in the place. There aren’t really walls, per say, as the ceilings for each room are just triangular slopes that taper down to the floor. There are empty door frames to go from area to area, and the rooms aren’t exactly square.
The best way I can describe the layout of the rooms is… odd. Some rooms are just square or rectangular, but others have other parts jutting out of them. It’s strange, think of it as the attic to the most confusingly laid out house. I suppose that’s the only way I can put it.
There’s furniture too, it’s all dusty though. There’s boxes with pristine food and some other random trinkets and bits. So if you need supplies… come get those here! Providing you can find an exit, which I haven’t. Although maybe the glowing floor can be the way out. Maybe it can be everyone’s way out! Wouldn’t that be swell??

So I think I got carried away for a second. I have no idea what came over me. I can only apologise. I just can’t keep my head straight, all I can think about is the orange glow. It’s so inviting, there’s honestly nothing more I can say about it. I’m really ill, my conditions has worsened and I haven’t slept. I just can’t stop writing, I want to write more, more about this Level. More about the warm glow under the floor. It’s comforting… so so comforting.

I just decided to reboot the whole page, it’s all worthless, all of it! All that’s necessary is the orange glow. I’ve been throwing up blood non-stop, I’m so so ill. Colours are flashing in my eyes and everything is hurting. But I found it! The hole I got this tablet from. It’s glowing so bright. They all call to me, countless warm and happy people. They’re so excited to see me.
And we’re so excited to have you.

Alright. How the fuck did no one notice this?? Not only does the account match the idiot that wrote “I found a blue door on Level 1, I didn’t peek in but maybe it goes to another Level”, but these odd edits to a classified page had been going on for about a day with absolutely no one noticing.
I swear some of the admins here are incompetent. I’ll reinstate the image from Archived revision 2 and implement some actual fucking edit barriers.
I hate all of you.

Level 19 upon its initial discovery.
Level 19 is the 20th Level of The Backrooms, and was discovered on December 1st, 2014. With the Level itself bearing the form of a dank, dilapidated and cluttered attic.
Description:
Level 19 a complex series of randomly shaped attic spaces, packed with a heavy clutter of boxes, vintage furniture and other miscellaneous items. While the exteriors of these items are frequently found damp, dust covered and dirty, the interiors of these items will, more often than not, be in near pristine condition.1
The boxes within Level 19 often contain vital foods and wide amount of cataloged, anomalous objects. Upon an item being removed from a container, there is a possibility it will begin to decay at a rapid rate2. This decay effect affects more than just inanimate objects, however. A select amount of individuals may feel effects nausea, paranoia, general dizziness, and may be subject to periods of blacking out or hallucinations. It is currently unknown if this extends to physical decay.
Within some of the floorboards of Level 19, a warm, fire-like glow may emanate from underneath, shining up through the wood. This glow has an odd, alluring affect that can attract wanderers by instilling a feeling of comfort and tranquillity. Oftentimes pulling direct memories from the individual and altering them to be directly connected to this glow.
The Orange Glow is the term coined to describe the faint, warm glow that emanates from under the floorboards of Level 19. While it's currently known where the glow originates or how the light can alter memories. It is heavily theorised that either this glow creates the decay effect in Level 19, or that it amplifies it.
While not known to be sentient, this glow has previously infected the mind of others with the purpose of spreading the knowledge of its existence. Making unsanctioned edits to both this article and others on the database. For this reason, it is heavily unadvised to enter Level 19.

Level 398 is a planet-sized level, composed of nothing more than crystal and glass formations down to the molecular level.
Description
Level 398's usual geology represents that of fairly flat, forested and plains environment. Whilst there are no signifiers as to what, if any, possible location in The Frontrooms this level represents, individuals who have returned from it describe the level to resemble places in Northern America, Northern England, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, and even a select few biomes of this plane have been said to resemble locations like Egypt in it's more desert-esque locales.
Depending on where in Level 398 one may end up, individuals will be greeted with different environments and entities. Level 398 can take on the form many varieties of climates, ranging from imitating the most humid of deserts to the absolutely glacial winter forests. No matter which environment a wanderer initially finds themselves in, however, the temperature always remains at a hot, humid, and dry. A climate undoubtedly caused by the lack of any water-based rain and winds.

A Level found by someone who found out about the Backrooms from articles during their time in the Frontrooms. Eager to try and enter this unkown world, they tried noclipping. After a long while of failed attempts, they eventually landed themselves inside. But inside of ending up inside Level 0 or Level 1, they appeared inside Level 890. An alternate, more dangerous start to one's journey in The Backrooms.

Not really a Level, but more of a state of a Level. It's basically just an area where a Level is still under construction.

An image of Level 738, displaying the 'cataclysmic causality cascade' in effect with some explorers from the BNTG.
Level 738 is the 739th Level of the Backrooms. With the level itself being comprised of a finite array of manor home rooms. Retrofitted to be a museum.
Description:
Level 738 presents itself as an assortment of rooms taking form of a UK Stately Manor Home, with room interiors having elements and properties dating from as far back as Tudor times, and scaling all the way to early 20th century.
Much like a museum, the furniture of this level is rendered inaccessible due to the abundance of rope blocking individuals from accessing them. This rope is known to actively deter wanderers away from it, with individuals that have inadvertently stepped towards any ropes 'fearing for their lives' upon noticing their proximity to it. However this odd effect is seemingly not in place for any reason, as nor the furniture or anything else behind these barriers pose a threat to human life.
Although rooms within Level 738 appear to have an easily identifiable era on a first glance, it becomes increasingly clear upon closer examination that this is not the case. Many older rooms that predate the 18th century are in fact replica's of older architecture and design. Identifiable only through close-up examinations and spotting discrepancies in the design.
From what has been inferred, there are roughly five main themes of rooms within Level 738. Besides ones specially mentioned, all of these styles of rooms can come in the form of pantries, kitchens, servants quarters, ballrooms, hallways, staircases, bedrooms, dining rooms, general storage areas, main halls, and art rooms.3 For the actual themes of rooms, however, the list goes as follows:
- An Authentic, tudor aesthetic. Usually made of aging wood and furniture. Or simply out of exposed brick. Any windows are made up of a metal frame, composed of several diamond shapes with small glass panels slotted into these gaps.
- 18th century styled rooms, any public rooms or bedrooms may be abundantly filled with ornate paintings, plants or have floral themed wallpaper and furniture. Due to a want of the era to 'bring the outside in'.
- Victorian/Edwardian styled rooms. Filled with dark wooden floors and red furniture. As well an adornment of lavish paintings. The door frames, windows, and lamps will also be especially ornate.
- A representation of a VAD Hospital (Volunteer Aid Detachment) during World War 1. The walls will have been painted a matte white, and any expensive furniture will be replaced with medical beds and ancient medical equipment. This equipment is still blocked off by the ropes, however.
- A recreation of a Tudor styled room, however made during the Victorian Era. Typical errors to determine this is the age of the wood, frequent use of wallpaper, and the size of the windows and how they're constructed.
'All Scenario Effect' and the 'Cataclysmic Causality Cascade'
A rather damning effect of this level is one simply dubbed as the 'all scenario effect'. In essence, upon enacting something within Level 738, all outcomes for the action done will play at once. As an example, if one were to flip a coin or roll a 6 sided die. The outcome to land heads or tails, or to land on either 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 are all possibilities that play out. While it is not possible to see such an action immediately after the outcomes are made, upon around two minutes of leaving the area where the choice was made, other versions of the same person will seemingly come into existence. Now living as 'new' beings.
As an experiment, four B.N.T.G members were ushered into a room. With one of the four being told to roll a 6 sided die given to them, while the remaining three individuals were ordered to watch and record the results. Upon completion of the experiment, all three individuals reported seeing completely different results from the roll. In fact, upon reporting this to Exploration Manager Ms. Tattenheim, both the aforementioned manager and the standard B.N.T.G members found themselves being 'duplicated'. Creating countless new versions of Tattenheim and the workers, where each worker gave different accounts of what they say, and each Tattenheim recorded different results because of this. This 'Catacylsmic Causality Cascade' was only noticed due to the submission of several reports from the many new Tattenheim's.
It is impossible to identify the 'first' individual before they were subjected to the all scenario effect, with some even arguing that all instances are in fact the original. Duplicates are also susceptible to the all scenarios effect, creating an infinite process of duplication, where an individual makes a choice, all outcomes play out, and then the outcomes make more choices, which in turn make more outcomes. For this reason, Level 738 is strictly classified and barred from entry.
this is going to happen to me too, isn't it? Oh god…

Entrances And Exits:.
Entrances
Level 738 can be accessed via Level 106, as occasional reports that have surfaced from that Level from the The Helpers describe people having ended up in a 'tudor-like home filled with rope and old furniture'.
Alternatively, Level 738 can be accessed from Level 120 via finding a near-invisible and tight hallway in the pitch black sections of the Level, accessed only by the servers.
Exits
Level 738 can also be exited via The Well. Though many types of wells have been witnessed and recorded, the main type of Well to appear are Limestone Pits to Level 48, Water-Filled Wells to Level 46, and a rare new type of well constructed out of wood and wallpaper. Leading to Level 401.

The known photo of Level 27 featuring wooden walls and doors. This photo was taken by u/TheUltimm* .
Level 27 is the 28th level in The Backrooms. This level is a point in The Backrooms where the air begins to feel thin, and where things start to glitch. Creating Dupes. Level 27 has no reality distortion, like Level 1.5. The photo on the right is the only known photo taken in Level 27.
Description:
The only known person to have entered this level is u/TheUltimm. He posted a picture of Level 27, and has called this level "The Woodroom Level". He has said he entered from Level 0 by tearing off the carpet and through unspecified means, proceeded to break through the floor, falling into Level 27 as a result. (The chances of entering through Level 0 's roof is roughly a 1 - 50 chance.)
Level 27 is thought to be infinite, with infinite rooms and doors. The doors lead to either halls, (which every hallway has 5 - 10 doors) or a room (which has 2 - 11 doors). Rooms are very rare to find.
If you're about to open a door, be extremely cautious. Before opening a door, put your ear to it to make sure nothing is waiting on the other side. Dullers, female Deathmoths, Smilers, child Facelings, and Hounds lurk in this level and could be anywhere, so use caution when traversing it's halls. And if the lights flicker or go out, bringing a light source is strongly advised because entity activity increases while in the dark. When the lights go out they may stay that way for up to an hour, the least amount of time is thought to be 10 minutes but this is unconfirmed. But, out of everything previously mentioned the absolute most important rule is, always watch your back. u/TheUltimm said he had an encounter with a Deathmoth that attacked him from behind. If the lights stay out for too long (roughly an hour), this will mean you're entering Level 28. The possibility of entering Level 28 slowly increasing the closer to the two hour mark you get, at which point there is no way back and entering Level 28 is inevitable. The size of Level 27 is unknown.

Additional Content
One has to be cautious when exploring Level 27, as u/TheUltimm has recorded seeing other versions of himself. 15 minutes before going to Level 28, u/TheUltimm opened a door and witnessed something incredibly strange. There he saw two duplicates of himself (written in his reddit post as Dupes) fighting and battling each other. What they were fighting for was unknown, however one was notably suffering from acid burns from a female Deathmoth. u/TheUltimm wrote how it was similar to how he almost got doused in acid from a previous attack.
The burned u/TheUltimm killed the other him. u/TheUltimm was able to go undetected by hiding behind a wall, and closed the door once the other version of him had gone out another door. While getting bearings, u/TheUltimm heard yet another attack. Upon opening the door again, he saw the same fight take place. However the unburned Dupe eliminated the burned one by stealing the axe they were using. Running away afterwards. It is currently unknown what this is and why this happens, though it is very strange.
Entrances And Exits:
To Enter, you will randomly encounter flickering lights in a fast pace, and then a wooden door will appear, this door will lock behind you, Levels that have this are Level 2, Level 5, Level 13 and Level 20 so far. To Exit, the only known way to leave is to open a door that will lead you all the way back into Level 0, Level 31, and rarely Level 4.
An image of the oddball landscape.
Scene-06.4 is a D Ranked Scene of the DevRooms, it was discovered on the 2nd January, 2000
Scene-06.4 is a strange array of foam-like and glitching shapes, discovered not long after the winning of the war for scene-01.1.
Layout and Effects:
Scene-06.4 is one of the strangest Scenes catalogued in the Leader Archives. Instead of bearing resemblance to locations in the real world, Scene-06.4 is a complete distortion of regular reality.
The Sky is a voidal, pitch black. Unlike most night time scenes, where there would be some element of alternate colours from the shining light of stars and such, the sky within Scene-06.4 is completely empty of celestial bodies. Not even manmade structures or external lights illuminate the sky differently.
While the sky is comprised of an empty nothing, the floor of the scene is quite the opposite. Made up of strange and irregular shapes
